Another Pastor Falls Off God's Wagon

And the saga concerning our pastors continues....

According to some investigations done by a local radio station, one popular Pastor with an equally popular church purportedly drove into a restaurant with a woman and it appeared that he was very drunk. He was reported to have started arguing with the woman right from the moment he got out of his vehicle at the parking lot into the restaurant. Once inside, the argument continued until the staff had no choice but to order them out.  On stepping outside, again the argument got quite heated to a point where the Pastor and the woman started fighting.

Yeah right!!
While driving into the restaurant, the security guards had noticed the reckless manner in which the Pastor drove and decided to keep an alert. So when one of the guards noticed them fighting at the parking lot, he was obliged to intervene as he figured someone might end up being seriously hurt. Apparently, that was the biggest mistake the guard made because the Pastor called his bodyguards who arrived accompanied by police officers. They all started a heated debate as to who beat who, who was in the wrong, who was trying to steal the other one’s woman and so on.

It got to a point where the Pastor started hurling insults at the guard claiming the guard beat him up, that him (the guard) and his family were going to die because the Pastor has placed a curse on him and even called him malaya (prostitute) and mbwa (dog). During the exchange, someone managed to record the Pastor e and one can clearly make out his voice and actually tell he is drunk from his slurred speech. The radio station promised to release the other part of the story during their breakfast show this coming Monday.

I am not writing this to judge anybody as I believe our living God is a just God and the judging is solely left to him and his whip is very very silent. I am writing this because I have always believed that for every chunk of rumour there is some truth in it, even if it is the tiniest bit. I also beg to ask, how it is that our men of God, the people we sometimes have to trust our lives with, are always accused of doing or behaving in all sorts of uncanny manner? If they are not stealing from the church, they are divorcing, abandoning or refusing to pay alimony to their families. If they are not starting political parties and compelling their followers to support them, they are eloping with the beautiful chicks who have to abandon their successful careers or alienate their friends and families. Again, I leave the judging to God.
